Ocean cruises
The classic way to see the world.
From a long weekend in the Caribbean to a full circumnavigation of the globe, ocean cruising is still the broadest, most flexible way to travel by sea. Mega-ships with everything-on-board entertainment, mid-size premium ships with thoughtful itineraries, ultra-luxury yachts that call into ports the big lines can’t reach — the trick is matching the right ship to the trip you have in mind. That’s where we come in.

Where ocean cruises go
Three regions to pick between — each has its own feel, its own season, and a short list of ships that do it well.

Europe
Mediterranean
Italy, Greece, Croatia, the south of France — the most popular ocean region in Europe, comfortable spring through autumn.

Year-round warm
Caribbean & Mexico
Short flights, big-ship ports, year-round warm water. The fastest, friendliest gateway to ocean cruising.

Summer only
Alaska
Inside Passage on a mid-size ship, glacier days, eagles overhead. Best paired with a Denali land tour.

ExploreA day at sea
The rhythm of a typical sea day — pleasantly slow, structured if you want it to be, unstructured if you don’t.
Sunrise
Coffee on the open deck before anyone else is up. The ship eases into harbour, a town easing past the rails.
Late morning
Ashore with a small group walking the old town with a local guide. Back aboard for lunch on the lido deck, watching the next port come into view.
Afternoon
A nap, the spa, a wine tasting, or a quiet hour with a book and a sea view. The ship is doing the work; the rest is up to you.
Evening
Cocktails as the ship slips out of harbour, a long dinner, a band or a comedy show. Then a midnight walk on the open deck, the sea a black mirror.

Things people ask us first
A few quick answers before you reach out.
When should I book?
Sooner than you think. Popular itineraries open 18–24 months out and the best cabins go in the first few months. We’ll tell you when waiting is fine and when it isn’t.
What’s included in the price?
It varies wildly by line. Some include almost everything (drinks, excursions, gratuities); others price the cabin and let you build up from there. We’ll show you the apples-to-apples comparison before you commit.
I’m travelling solo — is that hard?
Not at all. A few lines now run dedicated solo cabins and several have no (or reduced) single supplement on the right sailings. We know which ones and when.
Big ship or small?
Big ships do amazing things at amazing value, but the smaller the ship, the deeper the itinerary tends to go. We’ll talk you through the trade-offs for the destination you’re looking at.
Do you charge a fee?
No. We’re paid by the cruise lines — the price you pay through us is the same as booking direct, and often a little better because of our partner perks.
Or maybe a different kind of cruise?
A quick orientation if you’re still deciding.
